SARASOTA, Fla. - The Sarasota Police Department says two officers involved in last week's fatal officer-involved shooting are back on duty.

Officers Terry Crenshaw and Adam Barlow were put on administrative leave -- as standard practice -- after they reportedly shot and killed 30-year-old Deacon Clark in North Water Tower Park on Sunday, January 5th.

The officers said Clark had pointed the gun at them in a “threatening manner” when they approached and told him to drop it.

Both officers opened fire, and Clark later died at the scene.

No further details of the investigation have been released.
