NORTH PORT, Fla. -- City commissioners will meet Monday to discuss buying full ownership of Warm Mineral Springs.

Last week, Sarasota County agreed to sell its half of the springs to the City of North Port. The county wants more than $2.5 million for its half of the 81-acre landmark, which had been jointly purchased by the two governments.

If not resolved, the springs could close again on August 31st.

The city commission will meet at city hall at 1pm Monday.
