Does it fly over your house?? We are worried about helicopter crashes, have you ever read on the internet about them crashing? We are not being selfish, I don't see why they cannot move it to the North Port Emergency Center on Toledo Blade. It has enough room.

Everyone should be assured that the re-location of the Bayflight EMS helicopter is in the best interests of all the residents of North Port. No reduction in response times will be evident for the vast majority of transports and the city of North Port will be served just as effectively, but in a much safer fashion than at the current location.

residents who have complained should be very ashamed of their selfishness... this is a VITAL asset to our community. How terrible to complain about a life saving effort like this in our own back yard. ... just terrible.
