North Port man dead after crashing motorcycle into trees

NORTH PORT, FL. – North Port Police are investigating a fatal crash involving a motorcycle.

On Monday around 2:15 am, officers responded to a motorcycle crash at 6383 S. Biscayne Drive. When they arrived they observed a 2006 Yamaha sport motorcycle wedged between two palm trees.

The operator of the motorcycle, 27-year-old Jonathan James Fabiani of North Port, was ejected and found in southbound lane of South Biscayne Drive.

He was pronounced deceased on the scene by North Port Fire Rescue.

This crash is currently under investigation.
