None injured in shots fired incident in Sarasota

SARASOTA - Authorities responded to a report of shots fired in a Sarasota neighborhood Thursday to find bullet holes in two vehicles.

Nobody was reported injured in the incident, which happened just befoer 10:30am in the 2600 block of 25th Street.

According to the Sarasota County Sheriff's Office, the shots were fired from the corner of one home towards another home down the street.  The two suspects then fled on foot.

An occupied home was struck twice by rounds, and at least five rounds struck two unoccupied vehicles.

    great! now we wait to find bodies next time..lock up the vehicles if those folks don't know who then the police have their work cut out for them...
