BRADENTON, Fla. -- A second Bradenton Police detective accused of breaking into City Hall after hours to use the restroom has been fired.
According to the Bradenton Herald, detective Robert Cubas was let go from the department. But he is contesting his firing.
According to an internal affairs report, Cubas and another detective, Ross Johnson, manipulated a door lock and broke into city hall after hours.
The men told investigators they wanted to use the bathrooms that were "nice" and "more sanitary" than the ones in the police department.
Johnson was terminated in May.
