SARASOTA - A Sarasota mom went shopping Wednesday afternoon and later found herself in jail for child neglect.

Investigators say 28-year-old Sunnie Andrepont left her 22-month-old daughter in a locked and still running car while she shopped for toys.

Customers at the Big Lots on Bee Ridge Road, noticed the little girl and alerted store security. By the time they found Andrepont, she had already been in the store for nearly 30 minutes.

The little girl -- who was not hurt -- was picked up by her father.
