Missing Lakeland boy found safe, warrant still out for father

**UPDATE** -- 7-year-old Innocent Destino, III, has been located and is unharmed.

According to the Polk County Sheriff's Office, detectives are currently with the boy and his mother as they are being reunited.

Destino Jr., remains at large, and there is an active warrant for his arrest on charges of Attempted Murder, Possession of Firearm by Convicted Felon, and Child Abuse.

POLK COUNTY, Fla. -- A Missing Child Alert has been issued for a 7-year-old boy who may be in the company of his father, who is wanted for a shooting incident Thursday night.

7-year-old Innocent Destino, III is 4 feet tall and 55 pounds.  He was last seen in the 2500 block of Old Tampa Highway in Lakeland.

The child may be in the company of Innocent Destino, Jr. They may be traveling in a 2004, blue Dodge Ram 3500 truck, FL tag number 1914PD. The truck has a 'Gone Diesel' sticker on back window and has 22' rims.

According to the Polk County Sheriff's Office, Destino, Jr. got in a violent argument with another man Thursday in Lakeland.  He is accused of shooting the other man in the leg and foot.

Witnesses say that Destino's son was with him when he fled the scene.

He is considered armed and dangerous.
