BRADENTON, FL-  A Manatee County K-9 officer bites a domestic Assault suspect after finding him hiding in bushes.

It happened at the 1200 block of Carmella Lane in Bradenton Monday afternoon.  According to a Sheriff's Office report, deputies responded to a domestic disturbance between and boyfriend and girlfriend who live together.  The couple were in the back yard when they got into a verbal argument.  The boyfriend, James Duby threatened to kill his girlfriend. When deputies arrived on scene, Duby ran from the home, and jumped a fence.

A K-9 was brought in and began to track Duby.  He was found hiding in bushes behind a residence on Doris Drive.  The K-9 bit the suspect twice on his left arm.  Duby was then apprehended and taken to the hospital for treatment.
