MANATEE COUNTY, Fla. -- Manatee County Animal Services (MCAS) is overflowing with potential pets, and the adoption agency is going aggressive with their pricing in an effort to get some of the 105 dogs now in their custody into the hands of loving families.
Effective now through March 31, all dogs that have been at MCAS for over 30 days will have their adoption fees waived. This includes their shots, spay/neuter and microchip. It's a great deal for the prospective "furever family," and it should help MCAS get a handle on their canine population.
