SARASOTA, FL. - A man facing a robber with a gun fights back with his bare hands.

Sarasota County Sheriff’s Deputies say 3 men with guns and a baseball bat forced their way into a home on Palm Terrace in Sarasota around 1:30 am Saturday.

One of the victims says that after he gave his cell phone to one of the robbers, he slapped the gun out of the robber's hand and started fighting him.

He says the invaders ran off with their cell phones, but no money. Deputies say they caught the suspects later in the day.

20-year-old Denico Stewart, whom police say is the one who had his gun slapped away, 21-year-old Anthony Garruto, and 21-year-old Jarrett Bennett were arrested.

They all face charges of Home Invasion Robbery with a Weapon.

A fourth person has been arrested in this case.  20-year-old Brandon Albritton is charged with Principal to a Home Invasion Robbery
