Sarasota, Fla -- November 30, 2013 is all about Small Business Saturday. Following Black Friday, local businesses are encouraging holiday shoppers to stop by their stores and see what they're all about!

Small businesses are something that Americans are losing sight of with the prevalence of internet shopping and big box stores. Small businesses are very much a part of our community and this day is intended to bring that into clear focus.

Small Business Saturday has been set aside since 2010 between Black Friday and Cyber Monday to encourage holiday shoppers to make their purchases at local mom-and-pop stores on clothing, jewelry, toys, accessories and more.

ABC 7 and MySuncoast.com proudly endorses small businesses all along the Suncoast and across America. We encourage you to click on and check in with any of the local merchants that advertise with us on-air and online.

And don't forget, ABC 7 is a local business too!
