BRADENTON, FL (WWSB) - Deputies are searching for the person responsible for killing one man and injuring four others at an overnight shooting.
According to the Manatee County Sheriff's Office, dispatchers responded to calls of a shooting at 12:30 a.m. Sunday at Tommy Knockers bar, located at 5627 14th Street West, in Bradenton. Deputies arrived to find four victims shot and learned a fifth arrived at the hospital with a gunshot wound.
Witnesses told deputies a group of men were at the bar drinking when another group of men, described as Hispanic, approached them. The two groups started arguing inside, then moved their argument outside. Deputies say one of the men in the second group armed himself and began shooting.
The alleged gunman fled the scene with two to three other men. Witnesses believe they left in a white four-door vehicle, that could be a Chevy Impala. The shooter is described as a bald, Hispanic male, about 5'8", wearing a white t-shirt and blue jean shorts.
Witnesses told deputies a male from the first group left in an SUV, and may have been shot. It is possible that he is the victim that later arrived at the hospital.
Gabriel Conde, who was set to turn 40 years old on Tuesday, was shot in the chest and pronounced dead.
Four other victims, Adlfo Garcia, Calvin D Lewis, Robert Wright, Fermin Vazquez, ranging in age from 18-29 years old, have been treated for non-life threatening injuries.
