SARASOTA CO., FL -A joint meeting between three school districts was held Wednesday.

Officials from Manatee, Sarasota and Charlotte Counties spoke about a variety of issues including the current state of Florida's school grading system, and the fear that it may soon be useless.

The concerns come in the wake of Florida's Education Commissioner, Tony Bennett, resigning his position. He was accused of changing the letter grade of a political donor when he worked in Indiana.

7 South Newsroom Reporter Josh Taylor takes a closer look at the issue.
