2 injured in Sarasota crash

SARASOTA - Two people are injured after being hit by a vehicle at a Sarasota intersection.

It happened Wednesday afternoon on Clark Road and McIntosh Road.

A blue Honda Civic with two passengers was traveling east on Clark Road and began to turn into a driveway, when a gold Buick headed west struck them on the passenger side.

The Buick then hit a power pole, knocking down some FPL power lines and crashing into a structure.

The two passengers in the Honda had minor injuries and the two passengers in Buick were ground transported to SMH with minor injuries.

Charges are pending.
