MANATEE COUNTY, Fla. -- All southbound lanes of the interstate are open again after a fatal vehicle crash in north Manatee County caused one lane to close for several hours.

The crash happened just after 1pm in the southbound lanes of Interstate 75 near mile marker 234.  That's about halfway between the Moccasin Wallow Road exit and the Ruskin/Sun City Center exit.

Florida Highway Patrol now reports the right hand lane is open again.

No other information is available on the fatality yet.
