Homeless man stabbed during armed robbery

(Bradenton, FL)- A homeless man approached by a woman asking for money, is stabbed when he tells the suspect "No".

It happened at the 2-hundred block of 55th Ave West in Bradenton just before 5p.m. Monday. According to a Manatee County Sheriff's report Thomas R. Kearney was approached by a white female who asked him for money to buy Crack. Kearney said “No” and the suspect stabbed him. Kearney was taken to a local hospital by EMS for medical treatment.
