Homeless Bradenton man stabs another during argument

BRADENTON, FL- A homeless man in Bradenton is behind bars after deputies say he stabbed another man during an argument.

It happened early Wednesday morning at the intersection of US 301 and University Parkway.  According to a Manatee County Sheriff's report, the victim, John Frey and the accused, Myron Coleman were arguing.  The suspect believed the victim was going to slap him, so he grabbed a weapon and stabbed Frey.

Frey was taken to Sarasota Memorial Hospital for treatment. Coleman was arrested and treated for his injuries.  Coleman faces Aggravated Battery charges.
