High-ranking Venice City officials resign after sexual rendezvous

VENICE, Fla. - A sexual romp in the park costs two Venice City officials their jobs.

Director of Community Development Chad Minor and Planning Coordinator Kelly Bricker resigned back on May 31st.

They stepped down after being caught having sex in Minor’s car by an undercover police officer at Caspersen Beach on the afternoon of May 15th.

This is the latest setback for Venice's Director of Community Development position.

The previous director, Tom Slaughter, resigned two years ago, amid allegations of sexual harassment.
