Gold medalist reunited with stolen medal

SARASOTA, Fla. - The Olympic gold medal stolen last week from a Bradenton man's truck has been recovered by police. Friday, Demitrus Pinder was reunited with the metal he won in the 2012 London Olympics. 

It's said to be was worth more than $40,000. 

A Bradenton man, Allen Nichols was arrested and charged grand theft for allegedly stealing the award.  Officials say the investigation is still ongoing and there may be more arrests soon.

Tonight on ABC 7 News at 6 we speak to Pinder, who tells us how he feels about getting his precious medal back.
