SARASOTA COUNTY - Wildlife officials say they have caught the man who allegedly stole sea turtle eggs on Casey Key last month.

Florida Fish and Wildlife officers have arrested 21-year-old Kim Raymond Feaste of Wesley Chapel on Sunday. Authorities say Feaste is believed to be the man photographed on August 13th digging up a sea turtle nest.

Feaste is facing a third-degree felony charge of Possessing a Sea Turtle.

FWC authorities say numerous tips from the public helped lead them to Feaste. He has several previous charges, including possession of cannabis and possession of a concealed weapon.

He has since bonded out of jail.
