SARASOTA, Fla. - Jackets and sweaters will be needed again on Friday as a cold blast of air continues to bring a freeze to parts of Florida to start the day off.

A cold night ahead as some pockets east of I-75 in Manatee and Sarasota will see freezing temperatures for an hour or so. There will also be areas of patchy frost across some areas even west of I-75.

Friday we will see plenty of sunshine, but still on the cool side. Highs will be in the low to mid 60s.

Another cold front moves through Saturday morning keeping temperatures cool for the weekend. In fact we may see frosty conditions again on Sunday in some spotty areas.

We will warm up on Monday back to seasonal averages, but yet another cold front will move through on Tuesday.
