MANATEE COUNTY -  A former parent liason at Manatee High School has filed a lawsuit in the U.S. District Court in Tampa.  The Manatee County School District is named as the defendant in the lawsuit.

According to the filing, Adinah Torres claims "unlawful retaliation by administrators because she reported what she believed to be unlawful sexual harassment of herself and students by Rod Frazier."

Documents also state that "Plaintiff (Torres) continued to suffer daily admonishments from [Gregg] Faller, and was denied assistance to take breaks or perform her job in ISS (In-School Suspension).  Faller was acting at the behest of [Robert] Gagnon and Frazier in creating a hostile, retaliatory environment."

Frazier, a former assistant football coach at Manatee High, recently pleaded no contest to four counts of battery and two counts of interfering with a student's attendance.

Faller and Gagnon, both former school administrators, each face two counts of failure to report child abuse in the Frazier case. They're expected to stand trial in June.
