SARASOTA, Fla. -- We told you earlier this week how the Sarasota Police Department decided to withdraw from the state accredidation program.  Now, former Sarasota Police Chief Mikel Hollaway is speaking out.

According to published reports, Hollaway is not happy that current chief, Bernadette DiPino is blaming previous administrations for the departments problems.

Reportedly Hollaway says the department was in full compliance with the state accreditation program when DiPino took over.

DiPino says they plan to fix the problems and reapply for state accredidation within the next two years.
