Fmr. Bradenton Police officer found guilty in wife's shooting death

BRADENTON- A former Bradenton Police officer is found guilty for the shooting death of his wife.

On Wednesday afternoon, 69 year old Thomas Fleming took the stand to tell his side of what happened when he shot his wife in their Bradenton home on October 1, 2012.

After a 2 day trial, the jury deliberated for less than 4 hours, finding Fleming guilty of second-degree murder.  Fleming faces a maximum sentence of 25 years in prison.
