SARASOTA COUNTY, FL (WWSB) - An Englewood man dies in an early morning crash Thursday near I-75 that was not discovered for more than 2 hours.

Troopers say 21-year-old Rodney Farr, Jr. was driving north on the SR-681 entrance ramp around 3 a.m. when he lost control. The pickup truck, a 2004 Chevy Avalanche, overturned and came to a stop off the side of the road, nearly hidden by bushes.

Troopers say the crash scene was later located by Sarasota County Sheriff's Deputies at 5:15 a.m. and that Farr, who wasn't wearing a seat belt, was thrown from the truck.

His passenger, 26-year-old Ayshia Sisson of Englewood was critically injured and taken to Sarasota Memorial Hospital for treatment. Investigators say Sisson was also not wearing a seat belt.

Troopers say the deadly crash remains under investigation.
