LAKEWOOD RANCH, Fla. -- Two bicyclists were injured Friday morning, one seriously, after a crash on Lakewood Ranch Boulevard.

Florida Highway Patrol says the two bicyclists were eastbound on Parkside Place around 10:20am and attempting to turn left onto Lakewood Ranch Boulevard on a green light.  That's when troopers say a car driven by 22-year-old Lindsay Damery of Bradenton ran the red light on Lakewood Ranch Boulevard.

Her car struck the two bicyclists and then an SUV that had proceeded into the intersection on the green light.

83-year-old Donald Mader suffered serious injuries, and 81-year-old Joyce Mader suffered minor injuries.  Both were flown to Blake Medical Center in Bradenton for treatment.

Nobody in the vehicles were injured.

Damery was charged with running the red light.
