Female crime ring members plead guilty, sentenced to prison

SARASOTA, Fla. - The four members of a female crime ring have plead guilty and have been sentenced for up to 10 years in prison on variety of charges stemming from their two-week crime spree.

The women were arrested by the Sarasota County Sheriff’s Office in November 2012.

According to the sheriff's office, the sentences are as follows:

21-year-old Caroline Catarzi pled guilty to 14 burglaries plus six counts of dealing in stolen property and providing false information to a pawn broker. She received a 10 year prison sentence with one year community control and four years of drug offender probation.

23-year-old Alyssa Conrad pled guilty to 14 burglaries plus eight counts of dealing in stolen property and providing false information to a pawn broker. She received a 10 year prison sentence with one year community control and four years of drug offender probation.

19-year-old Samantha Smith pled guilty to seven burglary charges plus four counts of dealing in stolen property and providing false information to a pawn broker. She received a four year prison sentence and 10 years of probation.

19-year-old Brandy Kinney pled guilty to six burglary charges and was sentenced to just under a year in jail with four years of probation.

This group was suspected of more than 30 burglaries that were investigated by both the Sarasota County Sheriff’s Office and the Sarasota Police Department.
