SARASOTA - The Florida Department of Law Enforcement searched a Sarasota home Tuesday morning. Sarasota County Sheriff's deputies helped serve the warrant at an Augustine Avenue home.

That's in the area near intersection of Wilkinson road and Swift Road.

An FDLE spokeswoman would not say what the search warrant was for, only that it's an active investigation.

A domestic security team van was also at the scene. That group typically investigates acts of terrorism. Officials say in this case, the van was being used only for its equipment.
