Elderly man crashes car into Bradenton home

BRADENTON, FL. - An out of control car plowed a path through three yards before smashing into a home Friday morning.

It happened on 63rd Avenue East just after 8:30 a.m.

According to authorities on scene, a 70-year-old man had some type of medical condition and lost control of his Kia. He smashed through 3 fences before hitting a house.

The driver was rushed to Blake Medical Center for treatment of his injuries. His condition is unknown at this time. No one was hurt inside the home.

The county’s building department was called to the scene to inspect the home’s damage.
