SARASOTA - A local organization is inviting everyone to walk with them in a unique fundraiser. Easter Seals Southwest Florida is hosting an event called "Walk With Me" early next month.
People who sign up for the one-mile walk around Sarasota's Payne Park will have the chance to walk with an Easter Seals client…a child or adult living with disabilities.
Organizers say you don't have to walk far to make a difference in their lives. "People who sign up for the walk will be able to come out and meet some of the clients that we serve here at Easter Seals. They're considered our ambassadors for the walk; they'll be able to walk around the track with them and also get to know a little bit about what Easter Seals is," says Caroline Tanner.
Walk With Me happens Saturday, November 3rd at Payne Park in downtown Sarasota. Registration begins at 9am, with the one-mile walk getting under way at 10am.
All proceeds will stay on the Suncoast and benefit children and adults with disabilities who are served by Easter Seals Southwest Florida.

ABC 7’s Scott Dennis will be emceeing the event.
