SARASOTA COUNTY, Fla. - Test results released Thursday provide no answers about what is causing staff and students to become ill at a North Port school.

The findings come from tests done on the drywall used within Lamarque Elementary School in North Port. Those results did not indicate any issues with the drywall.

Parents and staff at the school have been complaining for years of a sickening odor at the school. Two weeks ago, three teachers had to be taken to an area hospital after suffering dizziness and other symptoms.

The school district has asked the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention to help pinpoint the problem. The CDC is expected to give an answer in the next four to six weeks.
