BRADENTON, Fla. - The driver that killed three people after accidentally backing into a group of people in a Bradenton parking lot is facing a 6-month suspension of her license and a fine.

Troopers say 79-year-old Doreene Landstra was at the wheel Sunday when her Tahoe backed into a crowd in the parking lot of the Sugar Creek Country Club in Bradenton.  Three people died and four were injured.

According to FHP, Landstra was cited on Wednesday for improper backing, and will face a judge next month.

According to the Manatee County Clerk of Courts, an accident involving a fatality results in a mandatory fine of $1,000 and license suspension of 6 months if found guilty.
