SARASOTA, Fla. -- A $37 million condo project on Golden Gate point has been scratched by developers.

Aqua Condominiums would have had nine stories, with units priced around $3 million, and a grand residence priced at around $6 million.

The Herald-Tribune is reporting that due to "unforseen zoning challenges", developers had to pull the project.
