The main gateway to the city of Venice could be getting a makeover soon. Developer Mike Miller says he wants to build a condominium next to the Fisherman's Wharf.
Development is in very early stages and paperwork has not been submitted to the city yest. The plan would likely call for 32 condo units.
The city's vice mayor likes the idea of changing up the area. Right now, the first thing you see when you drive over the U.S 41 bridge into Venice is an empty parking lot.
The economic downturn a few years ago spoiled plans for a condo building submitted by the property's former owner.
