Deputies: Restaurant manager beaten in parking lot

SARASOTA, Fla. - The manager at a Sarasota Chinese buffet restaurant was found beaten Sunday night and with severe head trauma after reportedly following after customers that did not pay.

According to the Sarasota County Sheriff's Office, employees at the New Dynasty Chines Buffet on South Tamiami Trail said that 51-year-old Tain "Andrew" Tian followed three male customers outside after leaving without paying.

After hearing tires squealing and being unable to find Tian, they called authorities.  Responding deputies found Tian lying unconscious in the driveway of a nearby business.

The suspects are described as three Hispanic males in their 20's with short hair, between 5’8” and 6’ tall, 210 to 250 pounds. One has a pierced lip and eyebrow, and another has a distinct rosary tattoo on his wrist and hand.
