SARASOTA, Fla. -- Those in south Sarasota craving a Culver's ButterBurger won't have to drive all the way up to University Parkway to get one soon.
Sarasota will be getting its second Culver's restaurant, this time at 7250 S. Tamiami Trail, about a mile south of Stickney Point Road.
Founded in Sauk City, Wisconsin, Culver's is known for its creamy custard and bulky "ButterBurger."
They recently opened their first Sarasota branch on University Parkway in early June. There is also a location in Port Charlotte just off I-75.
Three other Florida locations are slated to open soon in Largo, Cape Coral and Fort Myers.
Construction at the newest Sarasota location is expected to get underway soon.
