Corporate mascot costume stolen in Sarasota

SARASOTA - A corporate mascot costume, “Lenny the Lion”, has been reported as stolen from a travel & tour company.

The costume was taken for Go Touch Down Incorporated located at 443 John Ringling Blvd.

The costume is valued at $6,000.

The theft is believed to have occurred on September 27th between midnight and 8 a.m.

Anyone with information about the theft of the mascot costume is asked to contact the Sarasota Police Department at 941-954-7025.
