Community discussion on medical marijuana to be held Wednesday night

BRADENTON, Fla. -- The controversial debate over medical marijuana will be the topic of discussion at State College of Florida this evening.

The college, along with the Bradenton Herald, will host the community conversation.

Panelists on both sides of the issue will debate the proposed amendment on the November ballot to legalize medical marijuana.

The event is open to the public and takes place this evening from 6 to 7:30 pm, at SCF’s Howard Studio Theater (Building 11 West, off 60th Avenue West between 26th and 34th streets, accessed from Parking Lot I).
