LIDO KEY, Fla. -- Sarasota city commissioners have plans to take up the issue of renovating the Lido Beach Pool.

The project is expected to cost roughly $3 million. The city is now looking for a private partner to invest money into the project.

Over the next five years, the city would like to add a tiki bar and upgrade the bathrooms.

Commissioners will look at a plan for the project and decide whether to open the bidding process.
