Coast Guard calls off search for missing Bradenton man

MANATEE COUNTY - The Coast Guard has called off the search for a missing Palmetto High School employee.

Patrick Mullins has been missing since Sunday and the Coast Guard searched more than 2000 miles since then.

Family members say he went out on his 16-foot boat and never returned.

On Tuesday, sheriff's officials recovered his boat near the mouth of Tampa Bay, but with no sign of Mullins.
