Chief DiPino Speaks at Sarasota Power & Sail Squadron

On February 21st, Sarasota Police Chief Bernadette DiPino continued her efforts at Community outreach by speaking at a luncheon to the Sarasota Power & Sail Squadron.   Following her speech, the Chief was presented with the Sarasota Power & Sail Squadron’s Certificate of Appreciation by the Past Commander and Chair of the Squadron’s Speakers Bureau, Leon Warshaw.

Robert Green, previous Rear Commander of the Sarasota Power & Sail Squadron, commented to Chief DiPino the following: “Chief, as one of the 60 plus members who was present at the luncheon, you are to be commended for the many positive changes that you are making in our extraordinary police force.  Your outreach to the community is refreshing and we know you will be successful.”  

Chief DiPino, a native of Baltimore, MD, greatly impressed all of the members and guests who attended the luncheon.
