Chase begins in Bradenton, ends in Sarasota neighborhood

SARASOTA, Fla. -- A chase that began following a shooting in Bradenton Tuesday night ended in a Sarasota neighborhood.

The chase began around 9:30pm when Manatee Sheriff's deputies located a vehicle in the 1500 block of 60th Avenue West they believed was involved in the shooting, and attempted a traffic stop.  The vehicle fled into Sarasota.

The pursuit ended near Siesta Drive and involved several law enforcement agencies from Manatee and Sarasota County.  Also, an undercover police car caught fire during the chase.

The chase lasted 14 minutes at speeds of up to 70 miles per hour.

Three people in the vehicle were arrested: 18-year-old Jaleer Richardson, 19-year-old Triakyce Stuarts, and 20-year-old Rocky Valeur.
