PUNTA GORDA-During Charlotte High School’s November 1st game against Port Charlotte High School, one player walked away a star.
According to Coach Binky Waldrop, Senior Amari Washington played an outstanding game. He had 87 yards rushing, two touchdowns, and played really well the last few games. Because of this, he was named “ER Extra Player of the Game.”
Each home game of the season, Charlotte Regional names one Charlotte High football player as the “ER Extra Player of the Game.” “Since Charlotte High football is known for its tradition, we thought it would be nice to continue this tradition we started four years ago,” said José Morillo, CEO of Charlotte Regional Medical Center. “After each home game, we award one player the ‘ER Extra Player of the Game’ trophy to congratulate him for his ‘extra great’ contribution to the team during that game.”
Congratulations to Tarpon Running Back, Amari Washington, “ER Extra’s Player of the Game” for November 1, 2013!
