Charlotte County Fire Rescue looking into a suspicious house fire

PORT CHARLOTTE, FL- Charlotte County Fire Rescue was called to the scene of a suspicious house fire early Friday morning.

It happened just before 7 a.m. at a home located at 3382 Middletown Street in Port Charlotte.  The people that live in the home were able to get out, and no one was hurt.

Reportedly there were multiple fires found inside the structure, but fire crews were able to put them out before serious damage was done.  The State Fire Marshall has been called in to investigate the cause.
