LAKEWOOD RANCH, Fla. - More than 400 business owners and community leaders gathered Thursday morning for the Sarasota Chamber of Commerce Kick-off Breakfast.

The 94th annual breakfast, held in Lakewood Ranch, had the theme "The Legacy of the Entrepreneur".

President of the Greater Sarasota Chamber of Commerce, Steve Queior, says entrepreneurs should be flocking to the Suncoast. “We have a very positive economic outlook here. Our stellar quality of life really helps us grow businesses and attract entrepreneurs here. With information connectivity, now you can operate a business from anywhere in the country; so why not be here on the beautiful Suncoast?”

Queior says the whole goal is to create more jobs.
