KISSIMMEE, Fla. -- Police in Kissimmee, Florida arrested 50-year-old Paula Howard on Thursday, Oct. 31 on charges including child abuse and deriving support from proceeds of prostitution for allegedly having her three daughters approach undercover officers to offer them sexual favors.

It's certainly not common, and as soon as the deputies found out about this, they aggressively worked this case. They put together the special operation in order to arrest the mother,” said Twis Lizasuain of the Osceola County Sheriff's Office.

According to the sheriff's department, undercover pulled up to a bus stop when Howard sent one of her daughters to approach them.

Lizasuain says that the daughter – 18-year-old Samantha Howard – approached the deputy and said she would exchange money for sexual acts. Samantha Howard left with the deputy and was arrested for prostitution.

Paula Howard then saw another man – also an undercover deputy – at the same bus stop and allegedly had one of her other daughters walk up to him. And just like Samantha Howard, the daughter left with the deputy.  Due to their ages, authorities put the 16 and 17-year-old daughters into protective custody.

According to officers, Howard admitted to doing drugs with her daughters frequently. Officers also say that it doesn't seem as though Howard and her daughters have a permanent residence in the Kissimmee area. Paula Howard was held on a $36,000 bond.
