SARASOTA, Fla. - A pair of fishermen in the waters off Siesta Key managed to free a large turtle that had become tangled up in a crab trap line.  And they managed to capture it all on camera.

Capt. Ron Hurst from Ate Up Fishing Charters sent us the video, which was taken Thursday.

In the video, the boat pulls up on what appears to be a leatherback turtle with a foam bouy and rope wrapped around its flipper.  Working together, the men manage to set  it free and watch as the turtle swims clear of the line.

Leatherback turtles are classified as a Critically Endangered species.
