Watch: 2 cars involved during Monday's shooting in Sarasota

UPDATE: The Sarasota Police Department released a video of the two cars chasing each other eastbound on 32nd Street while firing shots. 

SARASOTA, FL (WWSB) - The Sarasota Police Department is currently investigating a shooting in Sarasota.

Around 3:30 p.m., between near 32nd and 33rd Street and N. Washington Boulevard, shots were exchanged between people in two cars, according to officers. A helicopter was sent to help the search for the vehicles.

Police report that they have two suspect vehicles, with at least four males shooting, possibly two in each vehicle.

The vehicles are described as a 2015 or newer white Toyota Camry with graphite rims and dark windows and a 2012 or newer gold Chevrolet Malibu. 

The two vehicles crossed N. Washington Boulevard and into a business parking lot where more shots were fired. 

No one was struck by a bullet. However, one business was hit by bullets.

Sarasota Police believe these vehicles were also involved in an incident in Manatee County.
