Supporters for continuing a property tax that generates money for Sarasota County Schools are heading out to ask for voter support.  The tax generates 40 million dollars each year for the schools.

The website yes4schools2014.com highlights how many positive things the money does for the schools.  The group leading the effort to try and pass the tax is Citizens for Better Schools.  They say it would continue to cost taxpayers one dollar for every thousand dollars of taxable property a year.

The issues goes to the voters on March 25th.
